smile1smile2smile3smile4I heard something really cool the other day….’You are never too cool to smile”-S. Kirkham

Her husband, and resident coolest guy in the world, James told me about how the story came about. They were at a laundromat, or laundramat or laundrymat; and they met this really cool kid. James estimated the kid to be in the 2nd or 3rd grade. Well, the boy told them about how his family was soon to be the recipient of a Habitat for Humanity house. His mother added a ton of details and then through that, a relationship was born. Well, then a man walks in, who was MUCH, MUCH taller than this child. So when the boy saw him , he was awestruck. And as little boys do, he just stared straight up at the hulking man. And do you know what the man’s reaction was to this little, wide-eyed boy? He glared at him and gave him a mad face . mad_face-12773

I mean seriously dude? A mad face, to a second grader? And that was when Stacy tweeted ” Noone is too cool to smile”. So hey, Mr. I-am-too-cool-to-smile-at-a-little-kid-who-is-impressed-by-me, get over yourself.

Thought for the day: It takes more muscles to frown than to smile!
